Each day is structured to bring balance between activity and recovery – with time to learn, challenge yourself, slow down, and connect.

The Location

Villa Quinta Luz is a peaceful and spacious villa nestled among lush gardens and tropical plants in the Algarve. Its calm and uplifting setting invites you to slow down, move, and reconnect with your body. Multiple living spaces and balconies create room for reflection, workshops, and quiet moments, while the large terrace opens up to panoramic views of the surrounding nature.

With 9 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms in traditional Portuguese style, the villa gives you lots of space to rest, recharge, and connect with yourself and others during the retreat.

The Food

Our retreat features fresh, wholesome, and protein-rich meals, prepared daily by two private chefs with a focus on plant-based, nutrient-dense ingredients. Every dish is crafted to fuel your body, support recovery, and delight your taste buds, using seasonal vegetables, legumes, whole grains, nuts, and superfoods.

That’s what our days will look like

Our days are designed to create a mindful balance between movement and recovery, activity and stillness. You’ll be invited to challenge your body, listen to your needs, and rest whenever it feels right.

A day can look like this*:

07:30 – Guided Breathwork / Meditation / Journaling

08:00 – Movement Session I (e.g. Yoga Flow / Pilates / Group Workout etc.)

10:00 – Brunch

 Free time to relax, nap, read, swim, or explore the area

14:00 –Workshop (e.g. Handstands / AcroYoga / Nutrition / Life Design)

17:00 – Movement Session II (e.g. Functional Training / Mobility / Stretching)

19:00 – Dinner

Two afternoons are kept free to recharge and recover. On these days group activities like a hike in the sourrounding area, a beach day or a visit to a local animal shelter will be offered as well.

* This retreat is for YOU. Each participant will receive a questionnaire before the retreat, so I can shape the experience around your goals, needs, and intentions — making sure every day truly feels like it’s made for you.

Sustainability means the world to us.

Since participant travel generates the largest share of CO₂ emissions in retreats, we reward sustainable arrivals with a €100 discount*.

You’ll receive details on sustainable travel options — including bus and train routes — and the chance to connect with other participants to arrange shared rides.

We also carefully select regional, plant-based, and low-emission foods and materials to minimize our footprint throughout the week.

In addition, 10% of all retreat income is donated to environmental and animal protection organizations.

What is included in the retreat price?

Can I join the retreat alone?

Of course! Most of the participants come solo — and leave with new friends. Our group atmosphere is inclusive and welcoming, so you’ll feel part of the community from day one.

Do I need any yoga or fitness experience?

No, absolutely not! The retreat is open to all levels — whether you’re a total beginner or already have experience. All sessions are adaptable, and you’ll always be encouraged to move at your own pace.
The only requirement: be open to trying new things and ready to move your body!

What if I can’t join every session?

No problem at all. This retreat is about balance — not pressure.
You’re welcome to skip any session if you need rest or time for yourself. Every activity is optional and entirely up to you.

What do I need to bring?

Comfortable sports clothes, a reusable water bottle, a bathing suit, comfortable shoes for hikes, and a yoga mat (or rent one for €20/week).

If you’d like to join our trip to the animal shelter, bring clothes that can get a bit dirty.

The villa provides bed sheets, shower towels, and hairdryers — just bring whatever else helps you feel good and at home.
